At the heart of our club, EOKIC extends beyond physical training. Rooted in the timeless principles of Japanese budo, EOKIC is dedicated to the cultivation of discipline, respect, and character, which is shaped and refined through the practice of Kendo and Iaido. Since 2007, the Etobicoke Olympium Kendo / Iaido Club (EOKIC) has hosted annual seminars that bring high-ranking instructors from Japan, giving Canadian practitioners an invaluable opportunity to deepen their knowledge and to elevate their practice under world-class instruction.
To commemorate our 45th anniversary, our club will be hosting Kendo and Iaido seminars in Mississauga and Etobicoke on August 15th to 16th.
We are honored to invite two distinguished high-ranking senseis (instructors) from Japan, who will lead the seminars and bring together kendo and iaido practitioners from across Canada.
We invite all Kendo and Iaido practitioners to join us for these celebrations.
